Lookin' for Adventure....Snowbirds with a purpose!

Hope that you will join us regularly
as we travel the scenic route through
beautiful places in this great country of ours.
We'll be traveling from place to place without
many plans, making room for God to use us to
reach out wherever He point us.
It's an adventurous way to spend our
days and we love it. We feel
blessed to make our way on
"our road less traveled".

Hangin' Loose and Stayin' Flexible....

Being on the road for an extended length of time is different, in some ways. then being on vacation.

When we’re on vacation we have a certain amount of time which usually cannot be adjusted.

Come rain, come shine we have to be home at the designated, predetermined time.
If sickness, injury, or an accident should occur the length of our vacation remains the same.

What we do in that period of time is up to us and if we’ve planned a trip and any of the afore mentioned calamity’s should occur…….well, it’s fun time lost.

This can add the element of stress to our vacation, which is exactly what we don’t want.

On the other hand, if we are traveling willy nilly, hither and yon with a very loose agenda and it’s not sunny every day of the trip it’s a little easier to take.

We can just adjust which is exactly what Gary and I are doing today because it’s raining on our adventure! So we're thinking of inside things to do......

(I actually wrote this last Wednesday when we were in Morgan Hill for two days, with the rain pounding, the wind blowing, a little lightning, a little thunder...just like being home in Oregon, nevertheless we were as snug as two bugs in a rug! All the comforts of home..at home in our Arctic Fox.)

  2. Mokihana, I love the ocean when it's like this too. Down here in Southern California I love it when it's sunny because of the great beaches here...hasn't happened yet though.
